Assistant Professor Samel Arslanagic has after a successful assessment transferred to the position of Associate Professor in Applied Electromagnetics at DTU Elektro from 01.07.2012. The assessment committee consisted of Professor NIels Skou (chairman), DTU Space, Technical University of Denmark, Professor Ari Sihvola, Department of Radio Science and Engineering Aalto University Schoole of Electrical Engineering, Finland, and Professor Mats Gustafsson, Department of Electrical and Information Technology, Lund University, Sweden.
Samel's main research areas include metamaterials and plasmonic materials. Samel i responsible for the course 31400 Electromagnetics, and is also involved in the course 31428 Advanced Electromagnetics.
Samel is also a member of the Academic Counsil at DTU.
